Dear Potential Swim Clients,

I'd like to share a little about my swim instruction background and
teaching style. I have been teaching home based swim lessons as
well as at a private club, for over 16 years to children (as well as a
handful of adults!), all over New Jersey. Thousands of children
throughout Bergen, Morris, Passaic, Hunterdon, Somerset, Union,
Middlesex, Monmouth & Ocean Counties have learned to swim with
me! My first priority is to teach students how to survive falls into the
water. Once this is mastered, swim strokes are emphasized, but not
before a high degree of water safety is attained.

My philosophy of teaching is simple. I teach water safety by building a
caring, trusting relationship with the student. I do not force learning. I
do not believe in forcing a student to do anything they are not ready to
do or any other traumatic methods. I am clearly aware of each
swimmer's comfort zone. Your child (or you!) will be proud to show off
what has been learned after each lesson! I continually give you ways to
practice and promote even greater learning in between the classes.

My schedule books quickly for summer lessons (I also keep busy with
Tiny Tumblers and being the
Program Director at Action Gymnastics in
Howell, NJ
). Over the past 2 summers (since moving to the NJ Shore
area), waiting lists were created due to an influx of bookings! Lessons
are filled on a first-come-first-served basis; so for best availability of
days & times, please plan to schedule right away and start lessons as
early in the season as you can. We only get 2 full months of summer
when you factor in their school schedules! I suggest you start lessons
as soon as your pool reaches 78 degrees. The earlier the lessons
begin, the more time your child will have to practice and use these
skills throughout the summer!

Please call or e-mail me at anytime to speak to me further regarding
any questions you may have. I look forward to serving you and your
swimmer, with kindness and successful results.

Happy Swimming!
Ms. Holly
